About TrackChaser.net

TrackChaser.net was born out of a combination of 3 of my favorite things in life: visiting new auto racing tracks, traveling and compiling data. Although the name, TrackChaser, represents a certain type of racing fan who loves to visit many different tracks, the TrackChaser.net site is designed to benefit anyone who is seeking race or race track information.

Allan E. Brown's National Speedway Directory and Guy Smith's Area Auto Racing News column, Roaming The Raceways, can be credited with inspiring many to travel the highways of America in search of new racing experiences, myself included. Both of these men continue to be invaluable resources to that end.

Though there are certainly a lifetime's worth of race tracks to visit in North America alone, I was not satisfied limiting myself to one continent. I yearn to experience racing venues throughout the world. Since 1996 I have kept to my goal of adding at least one new country to my racing travel list each year.

With the help of many of you, my friends in this great hobby, we can build TrackChaser.net into a really great site. It is already unique in providing information on such a vast array of auto racing venues throughout the world. We must continue to strive to make it better.
